Project description
Heart failure patients have to take an active role in their disease management. The objective is to help them with a personal health system providing decision support. The advice and interventions will be personalised and the system will be designed to be supportive and usable for the patient. At the end of the project, it will be validated to reach the market.
Role of Ghent University
Ghent University will take a leading role in the search for the necessary medical and user requirements and in the validation of the HeartMan system.
