Project description

Our project aims to develop safer, eco-friendly alternatives to traditional chemical insecticides used in agriculture and public health. By developing species-specific bioinsecticides derived from naturally occurring peptides, we provide a targeted solution that minimizes harm to humans, ecosystems, and beneficial organisms. Using our proprietary compound discovery platform, we identify novel peptides that selectively target harmful spieces, offering a more sustainable approach to pest control and virtually eliminating the risk of resistance development. This aligns with the EU’s goal for a sustainable food system, supporting both agricultural productivity and environmental health.
