Human attention mediates the dynamic interaction between people and geographic environments. This project investigates the cognitive mechanisms, functional impact, and brain-inspired modeling of attention in geographic contexts (i.e., cartographic map use and urban scene perception) using eyetracking and EEG. It aims to enhance our understanding and modeling of human-environment interaction through interpretable, and generalizable computational approaches.
