Project description

The textile sensor is a contact sensor and consists of a two conductive yarns, which overlap each other over the loops. Upon stretching of the textile material, there is no contact between the loops (off), while in normal state, there is contact (to function). This study aims to assess the applicant, the influence of a number of parameters on the usability and quality of the textile sensor (the number of sensors, the optimum positioning with respect to each other, the fineness of the yarn used).
