Project description

This project aims to advance our understanding of how biological drivers at different spatial scales affect relationships between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning (photosynthesis, nutrient cycling, pest and disease dynamics) through an individual-based, mechanistic and multi-disciplinary study of foodweb dynamics in a real-world forest landscape. We therefore integrate high-resolution sampling, measurement and observation schemes with field- and lab experiments and statistical modeling.
