Project description

Since Amnesty International’s founding in 1961, it has a symbiotic relationship with the United Nations. This (archival) research will analyse this relationship and the influence on international human rights law (1961-present) from a legal historical angle by reconstructing the general institutional history of this relation and by a limited number of illustrative historical cases, as well as a current case.
