Project description

My PhD project focuses on different tropical forests across a rainfall gradient using novel 3D laser scanning techniques and hyperspectral data at different spatial scales. The outcomes of this PhD are expected to advance our understanding of ecosystem functioning and to our knowledge in forest  resilience towards climate warming and more extreme droughts.
