Project description

An organic Rankine cycle (ORC) is a Rankine cycle in which an organic refrigerant is used instead of water. This allows lower working temperatures. In this research project different possibilities are investigated to convert waste heat into electricity using an ORC. The heat exchangers are optimized and some industrial cases are studied.
