Project description
Epilepsy is difficult to diagnose due to low sensitivity of the available diagnostic tests and a wide range of disorders that exhibit similar symptoms. In this project we use signal processing to investigate how brain activity (measured with electro-encephalography) differs between epilepsy patients and controls. Based on these differences, an artificial intelligence model is trained to diagnose epilepsy.
