Project description

The growing share of decentralized generation into the distribution network congestion caused due to the variable nature of these energy sources. Flemish companies can optimize their energy bills by increasing the concurrency of personal income and consumption by deploying energy storage and other technologies. In the market there is little experience to maximize this potential. The overall objective is the provision of knowledge and providing tools to optimally connect local revenues to the present consumption. The wider target audience includes contractors, consultants, manufacturers and suppliers in renewable energy and storage technologies {over 200 in Flanders) and the SME companies that could use these products to optimize their energy management {50,000). This project is intended to reach about 100 companies in both groups.
