Project description
This project aims at providing a significant contribution to the theoretical research on the application to copulas for optimizing design storms. This will involve a detailed copula-based analysis of the storm structures and of reduction factors used in the development of design storms. Finally, a further development of copula-based rainfall simulators in foreseen.
