The BXL.Childcare project presents the results of an extensive cartography study on Dutch childcare in Brussels in an interactive, accessible and scientifically funded manner by developing an interactive 'BXL Childcare' dashboard in which the collected data are processed in a user-friendly way by means of data visualisation and data sharing in an online tool that is available to anyone who is interested, but in particular to local, regional and national policymakers. In this way, the BXL.Childcare project aims to generate societal impact by highlighting the social function of childcare and by tackling and reducing the Matthew effect in childcare.
