Project description

Recent developments in gel-free proteome analyses are based on mass spectrometric identification of peptides generated by digestion of total cell lysates. Often these mixtures show high complexity. In this project, methods will be developed to decrease the complexity while retaining the representative aspect of the proteome. The project will therefore be focused on the specific sorting of COOH-terminal peptides and peptides containing methionine and bordered by Lysine residues.
