Project description

The frequency of terminal sedation (TS), though morally contested, is increasing. The project studies TS by analysing to the research group accessible databases (SENTIMELC, EURELD and IWT-SBO MELC) by describing and ethically analysing factual justifications for TS-variants (considering informed consent, proportionality, surrogacy, the doctrine of double effect and of killing and letting die, etc.)
