Project description

The overall objective of this project is to create a workable and sustainable framework for Integrated Weed Management (GOM) in fruit production by regularly evaluating the need for weed control and the judicious combination of chemical and/or non-chemical weed control methods. Such a GOM should provide an economically, technically, environmentally and
socially sustainable approach to weeds in fruit production. The impact on fruit yield and quality, tree development and side effects on soil, microclimate, diseases and pests is crucial.
