Project description

Fjord sediments are increasingly recognized as one of the best high-resolution archives of climate and environmental change. This project will identify and calibrate sediment inorganic geochemical tracers of hydrological variability for application in paleoclimatology. The results will be ideally suited to generate high-resolution records of precipitation variability, floods, and glacier mass balance from fjord sediments worldwide.
