Project description

Knowledge about the metabolism of 'new' anabolic steroids is essential for detection of their misuse. Administration of these steroids to human volunteers is not possible because the toxicological effects are largely unknown. A previous project demonstrated the superb capabilities of a mouse model to investigate drug metabolism and will now be used to determine the metabolism of these steroids.
