Project description

The first aim is to explore the limits of a recently developed chemical strategy, in terms of sequence length, monomer alphabet and product purity. Secondly, the newly acquired knowledge will be applied in an advanced technology, i.e. molecular data encryption. The ultimate goal will not only be to be able to write encoded information but also to erase and reconstruct it.
