Project description

We will examine whether the uterus of dairy cows harbours a microbiome. Besides, we will assess differences in the uterine microbiome of highly fertile versus subfertile cows via embryo transfer. In vitro studies will reveal the effect of specific bacteria on the pro-inflammatory reaction of bovine endometrium cells.
