The Government of Flanders through the FDFA supports the Health Sector in Tete Province through the provision of technical support to its Provincial Health Service (SPS). Based on an analytical overview of, and contributing technically to, the strengthening and consolidation of the advances made as a health system, technical support for the SPS will focus on complex adaptive systems to foster health systems strengthening, including strategic planning with a common vision of the health situation in the province, its challenges and potential solutions.

This project’s focus is on building strength of SPS capacity, which is expected to improve annual, multi-annual and long-term planning and budgeting, effective implementation of plans and public finance management, resulting in improved health services and population health.
