Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are the backbone of nearly every electronic device. The base substrate of current PCBs is based on fossil fuel sources. This research project aims to substitute this substrate with biodegradable and recyclable materials by developing appropriate technologies and innovative approaches to reduce the amount of generated electronic waste and environmental impact.
