Project description

This project focuses on the following objectives: (1) the design of a large set complex test items in the field of mathematics and reading comprehension and primary school level: (2) the implementation of the test items with a heterogenous test population that reflects the complex nature of Chinese primary education (developed/developing provinces, rural and urban schools) and (3) the application of polytomous Item Response Models to determine the ability levels of pupils and test items.
