The proposed project includes the investigation of detection and estimation algorithms for MIMO UWB communications systems with multiple users. The goal of the project is to derive optimal estimation algorithms for the channel parameters and to investigate their performance. Also, the influence of the estimation errors on the quality of the detection (bit error rate) will be discussed.
