Project description

development of design nmethods for robust silicon photonic components and circuits. silicojn waceguides are generally sensitive to fabrication and temperature variations. this can be (partially) compensated by deesigning the components to have opposing mechanisms to cancel out these effects for this we use electromagnetic modeling but also filter synthesis techniques to design tolerant microcircuits
