Project description

Despite the success of the treatment and the relapse a major challenge in the last tackling childhood cancers decades been recognized is the toxicity (toxicity). For studies of new drugs less toxic to accelerate the process, the team uses Professor Speleman a recent experimental model, namely zebrafish. Previous studies showed that these fish are easily usable animals for testing new drugs. Moreover, they breed faster than mice, which saves time and money in the implementation of such experiments.
