Project description

Nitrogen is a major nutrient that has to be taken up by the root system. To ensure adequate nitrogen uptake, plants employ an internal clock to adapt root growth to ambient soil conditions. This project, in collaboration with NJAU (China) will identify the underlying molecular mechanisms involved in the coordination betweet root growth and nitrogen availability in rice.
