Project description

The objective of this project is to get insights into the physiology of suppressed fertility of worker bees and of policing behavior of worker bees that eat the eggs of fertile nest mates. What drives on the one hand the worker bees that withdraw from the altruistic doctrine and deposit eggs themselves and on the other hand those that call their selfish sisters to order.
