Project description
Owing to their favorable properties, optical sensors are increasingly being used. Furthermore, they allow for integration in several materials, which is the main topic of this research project: optical touch sensors are being developed for application in “artificial skin”. It is important that the sensors are small and deformable to make the artificial skin flexible such as the human skin.
