We lack a thorough understanding of the potential of ecological corridors (road verges and hedgerows) to facilitate grassland and forest plant population persistence and migration in the face of climate change. In corridors in eight landscapes along a wide latitudinal gradient, plant, population and community characteristics will be studied in response to temperature variation along the gradient and experimental heating.
