Project description

The q-deformed harmonic oscillator, for which the wave function satisfies a finite-difference equation, is considered. The parameter h (related to q) appears as the finite-difference step. Combining four wave functions in a compass state, leads to chessboard-type interferences. As a second topic, we investigate perfect state transfer in a chain of qubits, where the interaction is q-dependent and where q-special functions play a role.
