Project description

For smallholders, intercropping food crops and rubber trees could be an interesting way of managing rubber trees' inter-row. This project aims at improving land-use efficiency and management in young rubber tree plantations by guiding farmers into producing sufficient food crops without constraining future rubber production. A better understanding of interactions between food crops and rubber tree is a prerequisite to achieve this.
