Project description

This research proposal has the intention to explore plasma technology in the field of electrospinning. To improve the electrospinnability of polymer solutions, different non-thermal plasmas generated at atmospheric pressure will be applied. By combining electrospinning with plasma technology, it should become possible to improve the electrospinnability of polymer solutions and to control the structure of the resultant electrospun nanofibers.
