Project description

This work aims to develop blending laws for the laminar burning velocity of alcohol/gasoline blends, through experiments and chemical kinetic computations. The reaction scheme will be used to calculate ignition delay times to construct an auto-ignition sub-model, and blending laws for octane numbers. Both blending laws will then be implemented in an engine cycle code and validated against engine experiments.
