Project description
After 2008, Spain's homeowners' democracy went through a serious crisis due to massive mortgage defaults. The private rental sector emerged as the "solution" to the decline in patrimonial values and was promoted as a new terrain of financial speculation. This thesis examines the growing social antagonism between tenants and landlords and explores rent as a factor of household exploitation.
