Project description

The cause of emerging human infections of Q-fever (associated with C. burnetti) is probably due to an increase in intensive farming goats for milk production. The current research project will conduct a risk analysis regarding the possible zoonotic transmission of C. burnetti from the Belgian domestic livestock (ruminants) to humans
