Project description

The project includes the exploration of vulnerability, triggering and maintaining factors for abnormal fatigue with exercise intolerance characteristic of CFS, fibromyalgia, post-EBV fatigue and lung covid. The Sleep Revolution project seeks improved diagnosis of primary sleep disorders. Previous studies have led to greater individualization in the philosophy of personalized medicine rather than handling single disease states. Framed within this is the development of a global sleep questionnaire, the European Sleep Questionnaire. This innovative questionnaire screens the broad spectrum of sleep disorders with patient reported outcomes and needs to be clinically validated. Collaboration with the NOPIA research group on the significance of nycturia with disruption of sleep and quality of life and the evaluation of sleep in broader patient groups, such as peri- and postmenopausal women and in pregnancy and in the post-partum tracks with this project.
