The project is a joint research between the Benguet State University (BSU), Cantho University of Technology (CTU) and Ghent University (UGent) on the Supply Chain Management of Cutflowers in the Philippines and in Vietnam. The joint research will address the main problem of inadequate capabilities in Supply Chain Management REsearch and Developmental with emphasis on cutflowers. The choice of the cutflower industry is international as it represents a viable alternative in boosting fram-based incomes. The governments in both countries emphasize production of high value crops such as cutflowers in their current agricultural development agenda.
