This research studies cannabis social clubs (CSC) in Belgium on three dimensions:

- qualitative interviews, content analysis of documents and media article, and field visits are used to describe CSCs as legally constituted organizations

- a standardised questionnaire is used to study cannabis users that become members of CSCs;

- a toxicological analysis of cannabis products that are distributed by the club to its members is used to asses their quality and potency.
