Project description

Programmed cell death (PCD) is a fundamental biological process that is crucial for development, reproduction, and health of multicellular eukaryotes. In contrast to the well-studied PCD pathways in animals systems, we still know little about PCD processes in plants. Our research aims to identify key molecular players of the gene regulatory networks that are controlling the preparation and the execution of developmental PC D in plants.
