Project description

Within this project a process will be developed to inject bonded EPS pearls in existing cavity walls at a consistently high quality. First the interacting factors will be examined that affect the quality of an in situ formed insulation board with EPS pearls. This knowledge is then translated into technical specifications for a pilot injection installation that is adapted to the requirements of the Belgian market. Finally a pilot plant will be tested and the physicalperformance of the insulation product will be evaluated.
