I continue to do clinical research in the subfield of reconstructive urological surgery and more specifically in transgender and intersex persons. Hirewise, the current line of research continues. The focus is now mainly on prospective research. Furthermore, IOF funding was acquired for the development of a new medical device. This will require research into use of the medical device in the next step. This will require the recruitment of a PhD student to conduct this research.
