The primary research objective of this project is to use machine learning techniques to enable automatic writing evaluation. Besides providing an overall holistic evaluation of the writing product, various modules will also be researched, each offering adequate feedback as to which text parts might still require revision. Though the initial objective is to work with the Dutch language and with writing products of adult writers, this can also be extended to other languages and target audiences in the future.
