Project description

The lifespan of the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans will be extended drastically by combining mutations and changing the dietary regimen. Next, the physiology of the superlong-lived worm will be characterized by transcriptome analysis and in vivo quantification of energy metabolism, reactive oxygen species and protein turnover.
