Project description
The aim of this project is the removal of persistent organic micropollutants. The research especially focuses on these substances which cause problems in the context of the REACH legislation, like endocrine disruptors and pharmaceuticals for human use. The biodegradation of three model compounds by specific consortia will be investigated to develop a new removal strategy for the final effluent treatment.
