Project description

The quality of flowering is essential for the good image of Belgian florist azalea. The objectives of this project are to identify influential factors related to flowering quality. An integrated approach is followed whereby depending on the stage of development of the plant focus will be on the induction of gene expression, on plant physiological responses and on experimental variation in culture conditions.
