Project description
A coupled study of electromagnetic, thermal and fluid dynamic aspects in AFPMSMs will be performed in order to obtain electromagnetically and thermally efficient AFPMSMs in a wide range of dimensions. Global electromagnetic and thermal optimization of geometric parameters will be performed. The objective is a high efficiency machine that doesn’t need external ventilators or pumps for cooling. Experimental validation will be performed.
