A broad survey of potential larval feeds including live food organisms and microparticulate and microencapsulated products will be made. This will be based on successful feeding systems used with other aquatic organisms and commercially available products, before being extended to modified formulations. Selected feeds will then be further evaluated in larval rearing trials. In parallel a closed recirculation system for the rearing medium will be developed.
