Project description
The ultimate objective of this research is to unravel the relation between promotor sequence and promotor strenght. Therefore, toolboxes (such as a promotor library and a promotor knock-in method) to modify cellular enzyme activities for different microorganisms (both prokaryotes and eukaryotes) will be constructed.
