Project description

Gender-based violence is a vast social challenge that remains deeply rooted in inequality between women and men. Combating this violence requires a global approach that is part of the gender equality policy (IGVM, 2021). A clear and as complete as possible picture of the size, causes and consequences of gender-based violence is an essential basis for such effective policies against this form of violence. In this project, we are working on the development of this picture in three ways: [1} by conducting a scoping review around the topic; [2] by analyzing the data collected by Eurostat; and [3] by presenting this data in 4 focus groups to involved actors (victims, perpetrators, professionals).
