Project description
Personality tests are part of many personnel selection systems. Yet, they are vulnerable to applicants faking responses to look good. Recent research suggests a latent ‘ideal employee factor’(IEF) to indicate such faking. The proposed research attempts to validate the IEF as an indicator of faking and to reveal its likely predictors and its consequences for the test’s criterion related validity.
